MOBILE RADIO COMM
SCC provide secure and
reliable mobile radio communication services through the TETRA and DMR networks
which cover most of the urban areas inside Jordan
These services are
provided for the different security agencies, semi-governmental and critical
infrastructure entities
TETRA network
Terrestrial Trunked Radio
(TETRA; formerly known as Trans-European Trunked Radio), a European standard
for a trunked radio system, is a professional mobile radio and two-way
transceiver specification. TETRA was specifically designed for use by
government agencies, public safety networks, and the military
TETRA network provides a
wide range of voice and data services and has been widely adopted as a mission
critical network solution
DMR network
is an open digital mobile
radio standard defined in the European Telecommunications Standards Institute
(ETSI) Standard TS 102 361 parts 1–4[1] and used in commercial products around
the world... The standard has become popular within the amateur radio community
due to the relative lower cost and complexity compared to other commercial
digital modes
The primary goal of this
solution is to provide a digital system with low complexity, low cost and
interoperability across brands, so radio communications purchasers are not
locked into a proprietary solution
